Lisa Engles

Lisa's coaching philosophy is to provide training programs that provide the structure, support and expertise you need to facilitate your training and racing goals, while effectively guiding you to a healthier way of life. She helps her athletes reach their fullest performance potential physically and mentally by combining state-of-the-art training techniques and eastern healing traditions to create the highest degree of mind-body integration. Each individual has unique wants and needs, and Lisa addresses these concerns by creating programs that consider the "whole" person.

She uses a systematic approach to achieving peak levels of fitness. By focusing on body alignment, posture and structure, Lisa is able to create programs that produce improvements in strength and structural integrity. She empowers her athletes by teaching them to understand the fundamentals of how their body and mind works and to use that knowledge to create positive experiences both in sport and in life.

Lisa graduated from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Kinesiology. She is a USAT Certified Triathlon Coach, and holds nationally recognized certifications from both the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Lisa is also the head track coach of the Silicon Valley Triathlon Club and trains clients privately throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
