For Content Providers

HOW IT WORKS

Progio provides a platform for content providers to sell a collection of exercises and workouts as so called “Titles” on progio.com. Titles typically are organized into one or more categories, for example, a trainer can put together one or more workouts, and an equipment maker creates a library of exercises and also includes sample workouts. Read the "Publish Titles on progio.com" on how to publish your content titles on progio.com.

Progio also works together with online portals offering custom or personalized workout protocols to their users. In this case, Progio provides a powerful integration interface that allows the portal provider to integrate his services with Progio's mobile devices, in a matter of days. Please read the "Content Server Integration with Progio" section below for more details.

Publish Titles on progio.com

The content provider can take full advantage of the Progio features, e.g., using images, video clips, and detailed text information to build up the exercise library, and use specific instructions to describe the workouts, including timer, sets, repetition, weight and more.

Progio publishes the title for the content provider on progio.com, packaged for a one-time purchase from progio.com with use rights limited to the individual buying the rights to use the package.

Our goal is to develop a successful partnership with all of our content partners. We have made significant investments to protect your intellectual property. For example, our hosted server location resides in a secure data center, downloading your Title onto supported client devices is a secure and robust electronic delivery, including measures to protect your IP on the device itself.

You provide the content and we’ll publish it for you.  Here’s how it works:

Convert your Content into a “Progio Title”

You Progio
You create your workout content and protocol using standard editing tools and formats, including images, videos, exercise information, workout instructions. We discuss with you the technical details to determine the best course of action, e.g., digital media formats for images, video clips, text and how the workout description is being managed. We prefer images in JPG, videos in WMV, exercise information as TXT and workout instructions in either DOC or XLS.
You provide your content via ftp, CD or email to us Our post production team encodes your content into ProXM, a standard XML protocol required for Progio (like MP3 for music).

Your content portal can take full advantage of the Progio features, e.g., using images, video clips, and detailed text information from your exercise library, and specific instructions to describe the workouts, including timer, sets, repetition, weight and more.

Progio provides your web developer with a comprehensive Web Services integration API and software development kit (SDK), which allows you to completely "embed" the mobile service into your web site, as seamlessly as possible.  We have made significant investments to protect your intellectual property. Our hosted server location resides in a secure data center.  Downloading your content onto supported client devices is a secure and robust electronic delivery, and includes measures to protect your Intellectual Property on the Progio Training Companion device itself.

Once the integration is set up, you will have a new powerful feature for your customers.  Following is an outline of the integration process:
